I tried some different things but nothing seems to work. I tried to install the lan driver but I get a message that is no network card. So I downloaded the driver from the Intel site.
My computer's CPU is Intel Core i3-2120 3.3 MHz.Īfter you have installed Windows 7 Ultimate, I tried to connect to the LAN, but I found that I had no LAN driver. Network adapter missing after installation of Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC In this case, you will have to go to plan B and buy an external USB RJ45 network adapter or internal network PCIe x 1 adapter. It could be that the network adapter to the top and dies on you. Select the 32 or 64-bit download as applicable to your system. You should see the controller ethernet with an exclamation indicating it is present, but there is a driver problem. I don't know if this will work, but here are the network drivers you need for your PC.
Anyone any ideas how to fix this problem? I searched on the HP support site - but don't see no driver to download to restore the network card which must have become invalid or corrupted somehow.
I tried restoring the system and supported the system a few days ago, when the system has worked very well - same problem. I called Norton to see if a virus has caused the problem, but they said they didn't know any problems. When I looked in the device driver - the network adapter is missing. On the PC with the problem, Diagnostics in WIndows 7 said that it lacked the network adapter. I have a second PC connected wireless through the router and it works fine. This system is connected through a router to the ethernet adapter in the PC. My system works fine this morning - but then the network stop job.
